This includes maintaining product displays, replenishing stock following the FIFO (First In, First Out) protocol, performing inventory audits, labeling merchandise correctly, and using material handling equipment like reach trucks and pallet jacks effectively. The role demands frequent lifting of freight weighing between 40 and 80 pounds, requiring physical stamina and adherence to safety standards.\n\nCustomer courtesy and facility upkeep are also integral parts of the job, ensuring the store environment is clean, safe, and inviting. Job Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier or stocking experience

Job Duties
- Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers
- Perform sales and cash functions in the POS in an efficient and accurate manner including scanning merchandise and weighing products
- Perform cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout with inspection for product tampering
- Perform duties as receipt checker verifying cart content versus purchases
- Perform store opening and closing functions at the front end
- Assist in receiving inventory shipments and maintaining and stocking shelves with product rotation and quality audits
- Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot and manage shopping carts
- Participate in inventory and cycle count process
- Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and proprietary software as needed
- Assist with price changes and other duties as assigned
