Employment is offered with a starting hourly rate of $17.69, providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment with shifts scheduled between the hours of 5:00 am and 7:00 pm from Monday through Sunday based on business needs.

The role available at CHEF'STORE is a Front End and Sales Floor Associate position, an integral part of the store’s operations that guarantees customers receive excellent service and a well-maintained shopping environment. This position involves multitasking across several critical duties including customer interaction, sales transactions, inventory stocking, and maintaining store appearance and safety. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a retail setting, physically active, and ready to contribute to both the front end and sales floor operations. They will perform various sales tasks utilizing POS systems, handle cash efficiently, assist customers in finding products, and ensure inventory is well-organized and fully stocked. Further responsibilities include conducting quality checks on products, engaging in inventory counts, and supporting price label management.

This full-time or part-time position requires flexibility with work hours and the willingness to work holidays and weekends to meet business demands. The role calls for candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent experience and who have prior retail cashier and/or stocking experience of at least 6-12 months. Preference is given to candidates with a year or more of retail selling or customer service background. Essential personal qualities include strong customer service orientation, flexibility, ability to multi-task, basic math skills, and proficiency in computer use and cash handling. Candidates should be physically capable of standing continuously, walking frequently, lifting and carrying medium to heavy products, and using equipment like pallet jacks and reach trucks safely.
