The opportunity available is for a part-time Retail Sales Associate position at CHEF'STORE, offering competitive pay of $17.69 per hour. This role is geared toward individuals with flexible scheduling availability, including weekends, to effectively assist in various store operations ranging from freight handling to merchandising. The Retail Sales Associate is instrumental in maintaining a superior customer experience and operational excellence throughout the store. Responsibilities include functioning as a cashier, stocker, and customer service representative. You will be engaged in front-end sales activities, supporting departments such as Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods, and Culinary Equipment and Supply.

In this role, you will play a vital role in replenishing stock, rotating products, conducting quality audits, and assisting with sales floor events like vendor fairs and inventory processes. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience
  • Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hourly schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to stand and walk continuously
  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 100 lbs frequently
  • Ability to utilize reach trucks and pallet jacks
  • Basic computer and point-of-sale system proficiency
  • Commitment to safety and store cleanliness

Job Qualifications
