Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- must be able to repetitively lift 40-80 pounds
- ability to work in freezers and coolers
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- basic computer skills
- cash handling experience
- ability to interact with customers and staff
- physical ability to stand continuously, walk frequently, lift and carry weights frequently and occasionally lift heavy items up to 100 pounds
- able to follow safety guidelines
- must be dependable and motivated

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
- possess desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- provide fast, easy, efficient, and professional service
- demonstrate good common sense and logical thinking with basic mathematical aptitude
- self-driven with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
- able to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends
- basic computer skills and cash handling experience
- proficiency in utilizing general office equipment
- high school diploma or equivalent work experience required
Job Duties
- Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with the store’s customers
- perform sales and cash functions in the POS in an efficient and accurate manner including scanning merchandise, weighing products, and looking up items not scanning
- perform cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout including visual inspection for tampering
- perform receipt checking by verifying cart content versus purchases
- perform store opening and/or closing functions at the front end based on assigned shifts
- assist in receiving inventory shipments and maintain and stock shelves in a neat and orderly fashion with proper rotation and product quality audits
- ensure all merchandise is properly labeled, including blaster tagging, catch weight labeling, and affixing plu tags to produce items
- replenish sales floor daily by down stocking freight from top stock in accordance with FIFO
- utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and proprietary software as needed
- ensure all products are easily accessible, visually appealing, and constantly available
- assist with price changes and participate in inventory and cycle count processes
- ensure the facility is well maintained and safe for staff and customers by adhering to safety policies
- ensure cleanliness of sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot, and store entry areas
- gather and maintain carts for customer use
- perform additional duties as assigned by store management
