Job Requirements
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience required
- Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and assist other employees
- Must demonstrate good common sense and basic math aptitude
- Must be motivated and able to multitask
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills and cash handling experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk continuously
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 100 lbs frequently
- Ability to push/pull equipment frequently
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, squat frequently
- Must follow safety policies and maintain clean environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and adapt to assist team members as needed
- Basic mathematical aptitude and good logical thinking skills
- Motivated, self-driven, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- Basic computer skills including cash handling and proficiency with general office equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
Job Duties
- Ensure customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships
- Perform cashier duties including sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately
- Stock and replenish sales floors while ensuring proper product rotation and quality audits
- Assist customers in locating products and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store environment including sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot, and cart areas
- Assist with price changes, inventory processes, and special store events as directed
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks for stocking and freight handling
