The role being offered is a dynamic retail position within the company that focuses on enhancing the customer experience through effective front-end operations, sales floor management, stocking responsibilities, and customer courtesy. This role is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service and possess a keen attention to detail in managing inventory and store presentation. Employees in this position will work flexible hours, Monday through Sunday, between 5:00am and 7:00pm, tailored to business needs. The starting rate for this role is $19.66 per hour, with the possibility of overtime compensation. This position requires physical stamina, including lifting and moving heavy items, standing and walking for extended periods, and working in varying temperature conditions ranging from -10 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
Key responsibilities include operating the POS system with accuracy, assisting customers in finding products, maintaining clean and organized sales floors, and managing inventory shipments with proper rotation and quality audits. Employees will also be tasked with performing opening and closing duties, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring that all products are labeled and priced correctly. A strong emphasis on safety and facility cleanliness is upheld to provide a secure environment for both staff and customers.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required
- Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours Monday through Sunday between 5:00am and 7:00pm
- Must be physically capable of performing lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, twisting, grasping, manipulating objects, and manual dexterity as described
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously
- Ability to work in temperature ranges from -10 to 85 degrees
- Must possess basic computer skills and cash handling experience
- Availability to work holidays and weekends
- Cooler/freezer and freight experience a plus
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred

Job Duties
- Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers
- Perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately
- Conduct cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout with product tampering inspection
- Serve as receipt checker verifying cart content vs purchases as customers exit
- Perform store opening and closing functions at the front end based on assigned shift
- Assist in receiving inventory shipments and maintaining and stocking shelves orderly with proper rotation and quality audits
- Ensure merchandise is properly labeled including blaster tagging and catch weight labels
- Replenish sales floor daily by down stocking freight using reach trucks and pallet jacks
- Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and proprietary software
- Assist with price changes and participate in inventory and cycle count process as needed
- Ensure the facility is safe and well-maintained by following safety policies and reporting issues
- Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot, and store entry area
- Gather and return carts ensuring they are clean and operable
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Management
