Job Requirements
- Minimum sixth grade education or equivalent work experience
- Six to twelve months retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand continuously and walk frequently during shift
- Capability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF’STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers
- Perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately including scanning merchandise and weighing products
- Perform cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout and inspect for product tampering
- Verify cart contents versus purchases as a receipt checker
- Perform store opening and/or closing functions at the front end
- Increase sales and manage shrinkage by assisting customers and maintaining sales floor neatness
- Stock shelves, receive inventory shipments, and conduct product quality audits
- Ensure merchandise is properly labeled and perform price changes as directed
- Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, restrooms, and parking lot
- Gather carts from parking lot and return them to designated area
- Follow safety policies and notify management of safety issues
- Assist in inventory and cycle counts
- May perform other duties as assigned by Store Management
