Physical demands of the job are significant and require the ability to stand and walk continuously, occasionally stoop, squat, bend, and reach above shoulder level. The role involves lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling various weights regularly, ranging from light to heavy loads, as well as performing manual dexterity tasks such as typing and operating office machinery. The working environment includes exposure to temperature variations from -10 to 85 degrees and typical retail noise levels.
Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with 6-12 months of retail cashier or stocking experience, plus preferred retail selling or customer service experience. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers
- utilize all tools and skills learned in the CHEF'STORE Way training and model the behavior
- perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately including scanning merchandise and weighing products
- perform cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout including visual inspection for product tampering
- perform duties as receipt checker verifying cart content vs purchases
- ensure a continuing focus on increasing sales and managing shrinkage
- assist in receiving inventory shipments and maintaining and stocking shelves in a neat and orderly fashion
- ensure all merchandise is properly labeled including blaster tagging and catch weight labels
- replenish the sales floor daily by down-stocking freight and ensure FIFO stocking
- utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and proprietary software
- ensure all products are easily accessible visually appealing and constantly available
- assist with price changes and participate in inventory and cycle count process
- ensure the facility is well maintained and safe by following safety policies
- notify store management of any safety issues and correct if possible
- ensure cleanliness of sales floor front end restrooms and parking lot
- gather carts from parking lot and cart corrals ensuring they are clean and operable
- perform opening and closing duties of the store
- perform other duties as assigned by Store Management
