This full-time position at Chef'Store offers a starting pay of $19.66 per hour, requiring availability for 30-40 hours weekly including weekends and holidays. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously
  • Ability to lift and carry weights ranging from 1 to over 100 pounds frequently or occasionally
  • Ability to push, pull, climb, stoop, squat, bend, twist, grasp, manipulate objects frequently
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Availability for opening and closing shifts between 5 AM and 7:30 PM
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensure all customers have an impeccable Chef'Store experience by developing and maximizing relationships with the store's customers
  • Perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately
  • Perform cart-to-cart product transfer and visual inspection at checkout
  • Verify cart content against purchases as receipt checker
  • Perform store opening and closing functions at the front end
  • Assist in receiving inventory shipments and stocking shelves orderly
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and rotated
  • Replenish sales floor daily following FIFO
  • Utilize computer programs and proprietary software as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store, including sales floor, restrooms, and parking lot
  • Gather and maintain shopping carts clean and operable
  • Participate in inventory and cycle counts as required
