The role of a Verizon Retail Sales Associate is pivotal to the company’s mission to expand its retail footprint and enhance customer relationships. This full-time position involves working in Verizon retail stores, directly engaging with customers to deliver exceptional service and tailored technology solutions. The associate is responsible for generating retail sales by leveraging a passion for technology and excellent communication skills. High-performing employees can earn total compensation exceeding $65,000 to $75,500 annually including commissions.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of relevant experience required demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with schedule known four weeks in advance
  • Openness to pick up additional shifts to earn more income during peak periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • Experience working in a commission-based environment preferred
  • Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network
  • Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions
  • Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution
  • Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions
  • Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
  • Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in products and services
  • Engage with the community outside of the store to expand customer base including at off-site Verizon sponsored events
