The role of Verizon Retail Sales Associate is a dynamic, full-time opportunity for individuals passionate about technology and eager to advance their careers in a retail environment. As part of Verizon’s retail team, associates are at the front line of customer engagement, combining expert product knowledge with exceptional service to drive retail sales and expand Verizon’s network presence. The position comes with a competitive base pay ranging from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour and offers substantial earning potential through commissions that can add up to $18,000 annually, or even more for top performers.
A Verizon Retail Sales Associate is responsible for understanding customers’ needs by creating meaningful connections and asking insightful questions. Associates position product insights and recommend tailored technology solutions that meet customers’ individual requirements, ultimately closing sales with effective communication skills. Beyond selling, associates develop operational skills across merchandising and inventory functions, contributing to the overall success of the store. The role also involves proactive outreach, with opportunities to expand the customer base by making outbound calls and attending off-site community events sponsored by Verizon.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a schedule provided four weeks in advance
- Openness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods such as summer, November through December, and vacation times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military experience
- Experience working in a commission-based environment is a plus
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions is preferred
- Customer service experience is advantageous
Job Duties
