As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving retail sales and expanding the Verizon network by connecting customers to cutting-edge technology and exceptional service. This role offers the opportunity to grow your career within one of Verizon’s retail stores, supported by comprehensive training and ongoing development. Your daily responsibilities will include understanding customer needs through effective communication, offering product insights, and providing tailored tech solutions that simplify customers’ lives. The position offers a competitive base pay ranging from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $18,000 annually in commissions by meeting sales goals, and even more for exceeding targets. Verizon also offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits starting day one, and multiple opportunities for career advancement.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with schedule known four weeks in advance
  • Openness to pick up additional shifts during peak times like summer, November through December, and vacation periods

  • Experience working in a commission-based environment
  • Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
  • Customer service experience

Job Duties

  • Generate retail sales by using passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service
  • Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions
  • Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide a complete sales solution
  • Close sales using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs
  • Continuously develop through ongoing training and upskill in merchandising and inventory
  • Grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending texts to interested Verizon customers
  • Engage with the community at off-site Verizon sponsored events to expand loyal customer base
