The role of a Bakeshop Sales Associate at Collin Street Bakery is essential in maintaining the bakery's reputation for superior customer service and product quality. The Sales Associate is the first point of contact for customers and is responsible for greeting customers warmly upon arrival, assisting them with their orders, efficiently processing transactions, and packaging products correctly to ensure freshness and safety. Job Requirements

The ability to stand for extended periods
Must be available to work weekends
Per the Collin Street Bakery dress code, bakeshop staff will not present with any visible tattoos or piercings while in uniform (absolutely no tattoos on hands, neck, or face)
Must have retail or food service experience preferred
Must possess good communication skills
Part time availability
Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently under customer service environment

Job Qualifications

Good people skills working with the public are preferred
Retail experience preferred
Food service or cashier experience preferred
Experience in retail sales at grocery stores and/or supermarkets is a plus
Ability to work morning and afternoon shifts including weekends
Willingness to adhere to dress code and hygiene standards

Job Duties

Greeting customers upon arrival
Filling customers' orders
Packaging items appropriately
Proper use of cash register and counting back change to customers
Maintaining the dining room to established cleanliness standards
Serving food to dine-in customers in a timely and courteous manner
Arranging baked goods in a pleasing and appealing way
Answering customers’ questions about any product in the store
Handling all bakery products in accordance with proper sanitary handling procedures to prevent contamination
