United Legwear & Apparel Co. is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join their team stationed at the Ted Baker store in Bloomingdale's Beverly Center location. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about fashion and delivering exceptional customer service. The Sales Advisor will embody Ted Baker’s brand values and standards while driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers.

As a Sales Advisor at Ted Baker within the ULAC family, the individual will be responsible for maintaining a high level of team participation, fostering strategic partnerships with host store partners, and adapting flexibly to business needs. The role requires comprehensive product knowledge to support merchandising, visual presentation, and customer engagement initiatives. The Sales Advisor will use Ted Baker’s training tools to stay informed about product features categorized by the 6 Cs: Called, Color, Composition, Cost, Care, and Cut, which are essential to effectively communicate product benefits and build brand loyalty.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will execute the company's sales protocols, including the GOTFAT method (Greet, Observe, Talk, Fit, Assist, Thank), to create a personalized and welcoming environment for each customer. They will demonstrate commercial awareness by understanding local market and customer profiles, using this knowledge to enhance customer relationships and achieve performance goals. The role also involves promoting the use of database tools and clienteling to strengthen customer connections and support brand promotions.

Operational responsibilities include adhering to company policies on health, safety, cash handling, theft prevention, and overall store maintenance. Sales Advisors must work efficiently, often unsupervised, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and to company standards.

The position demands physical stamina and the ability to work in a dynamic retail setting. Regular activity includes standing and walking for long periods, handling products, and performing tasks that require physical flexibility. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary, along with strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues professionally throughout the workday.

Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and previous retail experience in fashion are preferred. Additional education or experience in fashion retail management is considered an asset.
