The Retail Outlet Associate role at Bimbo Bakeries USA is an essential position within the company’s retail operations. This role focuses on delivering world-class customer service and maintaining the highest standards of store presentation. The Retail Outlet Associate manages product merchandising, including pricing, signage, and coding, to ensure the sales floor is attractive, well-organized, and compliant with company standards. Additionally, this role requires operating the cash register, handling cash transactions, and preparing status reports using either cash registers or computer systems. Associates in this role also maintain inventory levels and restock shelves to ensure products are always available for customers. Maintaining cleanliness in the store environment, which includes the sales floor, parking lots, shopping carts, and trash areas, is another critical responsibility. Job Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • 1 year of retail experience is preferred
  • ability to lift push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time, climb, perform repetitive motions, and work in a loud and hot environment
  • communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Operate the cash register, handle cash and prepare status reports using cash registers and/or computer systems
  • Maintain inventory/ stock levels on the sales floor and restocking shelves
  • Responsible for product merchandising standards, pricing, signage, and coding on the sales floor and answer incoming phone calls
  • Maintain a clean, neat work area to ensure store exceeds all cleanliness standards, including parking lots, carts, and trash areas
