In this role as an In-Store Merchandiser with SAS Retail Services, you will play a critical part in enhancing the shopping environment and supporting retail partners to meet the evolving needs of their customers. Your responsibilities will include building visually appealing displays and end caps that attract shopper attention and drive sales. You will be instrumental in resetting shelves, ensuring products are rotated properly to maintain freshness and availability. Additionally, you will monitor and track inventory levels to maximize sales opportunities and minimize stockouts for both stores and suppliers.
Beyond the hands-on merchandising duties, this position offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills by supporting store leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires. Job Requirements
- Age 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in merchandising
- Experience in leadership and training roles
- Ability to use smartphone or tablet for work reporting
- Safety-first mentality in a retail environment
Job Qualifications
- One to two years of merchandising experience
- Experience leading and training people
- Comfortable interacting with customers and management
- Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Motivated self-starter with strong bias for action and results
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Familiar with using smartphones or tablets for work recording
