As part of a vast global network of 65,000 teammates, SAS Retail Services proudly serves over 4,000 brands and retail customers in more than 40 countries. This extensive footprint allows the company to connect people with products and experiences that enrich lives daily. With a commitment to employee growth, support, and enrichment, SAS offers a dynamic work environment where individuals can develop valuable skills and advance their careers with ample opportunities for promotion from within.
The role of an In-Store Merchandiser at SAS Retail Services is integral to this mission. Individuals in this position will be responsible for providing exceptional merchandising support to retail locations, directly impacting the shopping experience. The role entails building attractive product displays and end caps, resetting shelves with fresh product rotations, and meticulously managing inventory to maximize sales opportunities for both the stores and suppliers. Beyond these hands-on merchandising tasks, the position also involves supporting retail leadership through activities such as reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires, ensuring smooth store operations and staff development.
This role is tailored for proactive individuals who thrive in a retail environment and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. Candidates do not need prior experience as comprehensive training and ongoing team support are provided to ensure success. The position offers competitive wages starting at $16.00 per hour with no night, weekend, or holiday work required, offering a healthy work-life balance. Additional hours may be available upon request, providing flexibility for those who desire extra working time. Furthermore, the company’s benefits package is customizable to meet diverse family needs, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, supplemental voluntary plans, wellness programs, and exclusive discounts through Associate Perks.
As an in-store merchandiser, you must be comfortable engaging with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic manner. Physical stamina is essential as the job involves moving, bending, standing, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation is necessary to ensure consistent attendance at the work location. Candidates should have 1-2 years of merchandising experience and demonstrate leadership capabilities in training and guiding colleagues. Effective use of smartphones or tablets is required to record work after each shift accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills, motivation, a results-oriented mindset, and a strong safety-first approach in the retail environment are key attributes for success in this role.
Joining SAS Retail Services means becoming part of a supportive team committed to your personal and professional development, with a clear pathway to a thriving career in retail merchandising. This opportunity allows you to contribute meaningfully to the future of retail while enjoying competitive pay, flexibility, and comprehensive benefits that support your well-being and growth.
