Job Requirements
- Minimum education requirement - Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum management experience - 2 years
- Minimum functional experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
- Proven restaurant management experience, ideally in a high-volume or campus environment
- Strong union management experience and ability to lead in a collaborative, structured environment
- Creativity and innovation in menu development and culinary trends
- Ability to deliver top-tier customer service and drive continuous improvement
- Solid understanding of financial controls, including cash handling and inventory management
- Strong people leadership skills with experience supervising diverse frontline teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for delivering exceptional student dining experiences
Job Duties
- Champion a zero harm mindset—ensuring safety for employees, customers, and food quality
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, hospitality, and service consistency
- Oversee menu creation, culinary innovation, and trend-forward offerings tailored to the student community
- Manage cash-handling protocols and ensure compliance with Sodexo financial controls
- Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction with food and service delivery
- Support and develop a diverse team including hourly staff, supervisors, and fellow managers
- Ensure the unit has the proper equipment, supplies, and resources to operate efficiently
- Uphold Sodexo service standards and operational excellence across all branded and non-branded retail concepts
