The Retail Manager 3 position at Sodexo is a key leadership role situated at Colorado University in Denver, Colorado. This role demands a passionate individual who excels in customer service and possesses extensive knowledge of retail food concepts. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing operations in a dynamic, campus-based retail food environment that operates during evenings and weekends, reflecting the busy schedules of college students. In this role, the Retail Manager will act as a vital bridge between Sodexo and its campus clients, ensuring that both Sodexo's business objectives and client expectations are met and exceeded. The manager will be responsible for fostering strong client relationships and promoting a client-centered culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and quality service.

Responsibilities include identifying and addressing customer needs, aligning operational goals with Sodexo's standards, coordinating catering initiatives to drive sales growth, and maintaining food safety standards such as HAACP compliance. This position requires resourcefulness, quick responsiveness to client and customer requests, and the ability to educate and build rapport with clients to enhance partnerships further. Through these tasks, the Retail Manager contributes directly to creating a positive and memorable dining experience on campus while supporting Sodexo's mission of improving the everyday lives of the university community. Job Requirements

  • Minimum education requirement - associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum management experience - 2 years
  • minimum functional experience - 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
