The Retail Manager 3 role at Traditions is a year-round leadership position that requires a hands-on approach to managing daily restaurant operations while fostering a safe and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume or campus dining setting, with a proven track record of union management and collaborative leadership. They will be responsible for driving culinary innovation and menu development that resonates with the student population, ensuring that food offerings are both trend-forward and appealing.

As a leader, the Retail Manager 3 will champion a Zero Harm mindset, prioritizing the safety of employees, customers, and food quality. Operational responsibilities include overseeing cash-handling protocols in line with Sodexo’s stringent financial controls, maintaining strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction with food and service delivery, and supporting staff development by mentoring a diverse team of hourly employees, supervisors, and managers. Additionally, the role requires ensuring the availability of the necessary equipment, supplies, and resources for smooth restaurant operations and upholding Sodexo’s service standards across all branded and non-branded retail concepts.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years of management experience
  • minimum 1 year of work experience in concessions retail sales or store operations
