The Retail Manager 2 – Food position at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue is an outstanding leadership opportunity for an individual passionate about operational excellence, customer service, and team development. As the Retail Manager 2, you will directly report to the General Manager and manage a team of around 20 unionized frontline employees. This role requires a hands-on approach where you’ll oversee all daily operations of the EAT Café retail food service, ensuring food quality, merchandising, sanitation, and safety regulations are consistently met. You will also be heavily involved in coaching and developing your team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence that aligns with Sodexo's high standards.

This role is perfectly suited for candidates with retail food service management experience, especially those accustomed to the fast-paced dynamics of healthcare environments and unionized labor. You'll be responsible for scheduling, labor management, inventory control, and driving operational performance metrics.
