This Retail Manager position is for one of Sodexo's branded food service operations, specifically the Taco Bell location at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, HI. This role is a dynamic management opportunity within a vibrant campus environment where customer service and operational excellence are paramount. The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Taco Bell retail operations, ensuring alignment with Sodexo's standards and the university's goals. This includes identifying and responding to customer needs, promoting a culture centered around customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth through effective catering and service initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year management experience

  • prior experience promoting national brands with clients and customers in a campus environment
  • proven client relationship and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • identify customer needs and expectations

  • educate and develop rapport with clients and promote partnerships
  • promote a customer/client centered culture that strives to exceed customer and client needs
  • coordinate all unit catering initiatives to drive sales growth and track results
  • maintain and improve service level resulting in increased customer satisfaction
  • ensure all HAACP standards are followed
  • demonstrate resourcefulness and quick responsiveness to client and customer requests
