The Vitamin Shoppe is currently seeking a part-time Retail Key Holder to join its dedicated team. The Retail Key Holder plays a crucial leadership role, acting as a direct support for store management and ensuring store operations run smoothly and efficiently during shifts. The position involves achieving and exceeding daily sales and productivity goals while mentoring and supporting fellow associates. With a focus on providing personalized and memorable customer service, the Retail Key Holder helps build customer loyalty through engaging, product-focused connections. This role also requires maintaining store standards, including regular store maintenance, loss prevention compliance, and timely product stocking and pricing. Acting as Manager On Duty when necessary, the Key Holder ensures the store operates with integrity and professionalism at all times.

In addition to leadership and operational duties, the Retail Key Holder at The Vitamin Shoppe continually develops their product knowledge through ongoing training. The role requires collaboration in a team of enthusiastic health advocates, known internally as Health Enthusiasts. Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience/instruction
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (i.e. holidays, weekends, locations) depending on business needs as a part-time associate

Job Duties

  • Act as a direct support for your management team- executing with excellence
  • Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals- while supporting others as they do the same
  • Build loyalty through personalized customer connections creating positively memorable shopping experiences and building baskets
  • Work with integrity
  • act as manager on duty in absence of store manager/assistant manager/key holder
  • Efficiently process customer transactions, merchandise shelves and price products accordingly
  • Master product knowledge by participating in continuous learning activities
  • Collaborate with an amazing team of health enthusiasts
  • Maintain regular store maintenance, follow loss prevention standards, ensure timely processing of product receipts, keep shelves full and products priced accordingly
  • Be willing to perform additional duties as required
