Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in food, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests every day across 15 countries. Rooted in service and united by a strong purpose, Aramark strives to create positive impacts for its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. The company firmly believes in fostering equal employment opportunity and cultivating a diverse, inclusive environment where every employee can participate fully and flourish professionally. Aramark is committed to developing its workforce by providing career growth opportunities that develop talents, fuel passions, and empower professional advancement.

The IN2WORK (I2W) program is a specialized vocational training initiative operated within Aramark designed specifically to support incarcerated individuals. The program's core mission is to reduce recidivism by equipping students with transferable, foundational skills in food service, warehouse, and retail operations. With a comprehensive curriculum that combines classroom instruction and hands-on training, students completing the program earn a nationally recognized certification that significantly enhances their employability prospects post-release.

IN2WORK, along with other retail and workforce development programs under Aramark, focuses on preparing individuals for successful community reentry by instilling workplace readiness, accountability, and practical knowledge aligned with food service, warehousing, commissary, and retail operational skills. These initiatives are critical components of Aramark’s dedication to education, career readiness, and public safety within the corrections sector. By promoting teamwork, responsibility, and accountability through disciplined training methods, the programs seek to increase public safety and reduce future victimization by fostering confident, capable graduates.

The role associated with the IN2WORK program involves leadership and support responsibilities that ensure program effectiveness, growth, and alignment with Aramark’s broader business and workforce development objectives. This position requires overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of IN2WORK and other related retail programs across correctional facilities. Key duties include orienting and training program instructors, tracking and reporting on program performance, supporting graduates in their reentry journey, and collaborating with community partners to create job opportunities.

The successful candidate will serve as a pivotal link between Aramark operations and correctional institutions, facilitating the introduction of new programs and the expansion of existing ones. Through onsite and virtual training sessions covering warehouse and retail skills as well as certification programs like RISE Up and OSHA 10 General Industry, the individual will contribute to program sustainability and growth. Additionally, this role involves managing program materials, maintaining participant databases, and ensuring alignment with performance metrics and program key performance indicators (KPIs).

This position requires a proactive, results-oriented leader with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who can influence without formal authority and manage multiple priorities efficiently. The ability to adapt to changing situations, maintain confidentiality, and foster teamwork is essential. By joining Aramark in this role, individuals will contribute meaningfully to reducing recidivism and promoting public safety while supporting the personal and professional success of program graduates.
