The Retail Host at Water Street plays a key role in daily retail operations by assisting customers with product information, processing sales transactions accurately, and supporting inventory, security, and compliance protocols. This position requires staying informed about cannabis products and adhering strictly to applicable laws and company policies. The Retail Host is responsible for maintaining customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment, interacting professionally with customers, answering inquiries, and verifying customer eligibility and identification before sales transactions. The role also involves operating the point-of-sale (POS) system to ensure transaction accuracy and proper cash handling.

Additional responsibilities include managing inventory counts, assisting with product intake following quality assurance standards, preventing loss or theft of products and cash, and ensuring compliance with all security and safety procedures. The Retail Host is also tasked with preparing and delivering curbside pickup orders, verifying identities during these transactions, and maintaining confidentiality of patient and customer information. Effective communication and team collaboration with management and coworkers are essential to the successful execution of this position. The Retail Host must adhere to company uniform and grooming standards, and employment is contingent upon compliance with all regulatory requirements, including holding and maintaining all necessary licenses and permits.
