Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- must pass all required background checks
- must have and maintain legal compliance to work in the cannabis industry
- ability to understand and execute company policies and procedures
- basic knowledge of compliance software and job-specific technology
- ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- flexible schedule including ability to cover shifts and emergencies
- physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without assistance
- tolerance to cannabis odors and exposure
- adherence to all safety procedures and regulatory compliance
- professionalism in all interactions
- ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- prior customer service experience is desirable but not mandatory
Job Qualifications
- previous customer service experience preferred
- proficiency in Windows-based software and POS applications
- excellent communication and attention to detail
- ability to interpret and comply with statutes, ordinances, regulations, and standards
- understanding of federal, state, and local laws relevant to the cannabis industry
- ability to establish effective working relationships with employees and regulatory officials
- capacity to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- strong public relations and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- help retail customers in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives
- provide extensive retail product knowledge to assist customers with purchasing decisions
- complete all assigned work during scheduled shifts
- accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system
- follow proper cash handling procedures and discount/coupon applications
- answer phones and greet customers pleasantly
- maintain accurate inventory counts and product sales records
- assist with cannabis product inventory intake and quality assurance
- prepare, package, and deliver curbside pickup orders
- verify identity of curbside pickup customers before transactions
- ensure correct payment amounts before completing sales
- maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations
- comply with security and safety protocols
- keep the store organized, clean, and well-stocked
- communicate openly with management and coworkers
- report employee or customer issues to supervisors
- provide support to management for general retail operations
- ensure customer satisfaction by following company sales and service policies
- perform other duties as assigned
