Job Description
Aramark is a leading global provider of food services, facilities management, and uniform services, operating in 15 countries around the world. Dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities it serves, Aramark prides itself on delivering exceptional dining experiences and comprehensive facility solutions across various industries including education, healthcare, business, and sports and entertainment. The company’s mission is rooted in service and a shared purpose to do great things for its employees, partners, communities, and planet. Aramark is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment where equal employment opportunities are provided regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, or other protected characteristics by law.
This job opportunity is for a management position focused on developing and executing innovative dining solutions that meet customer preferences and business objectives. The role involves overseeing and managing dining operations where customers order prepared food from a menu, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maintaining operational excellence. As a manager, you will leverage Aramark’s coaching model to engage, motivate, and develop team members to reach their fullest potential. The management role entails ensuring that both individual and team performances consistently meet or exceed established goals and client expectations.
The position requires a strong emphasis on safety and sanitation to maintain high standards in food service operations. You will be responsible for fostering effective business relationships with clients and customers, identifying client needs, and communicating operational progress accordingly. Managing financial aspects like profit and loss statements, meeting company and client financial targets, and implementing cost control measures are key responsibilities to drive profitability and efficiency.
You will play a critical role in adopting Aramark’s proven processes and systems while educating the team on performance metrics, data interpretation, and inventory management to improve margins and overall success. The role oversees the entire team’s training, production quality, and control to deliver a seamless retail dining experience. Ensuring compliance with all operational excellence fundamentals, food safety, and labor initiatives is expected.
Additionally, this position involves supervising staff in the production and service areas, managing food service at an assigned retail food location, assisting with menu planning and development, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards. You will supervise multiple employees in hiring, discipline, performance reviews, and pay increase initiation.
Operational duties also include location forecasting, accounting support, inventory management, and record maintenance to comply with company, government, and accrediting agency regulations. Collaborating with other internal departments, interfacing with vendors, and key service users within client organizations are important elements of this multifaceted role. Managing front-of-house dining operations such as cafeterias, food courts, and quick service restaurants is part of the daily responsibilities. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement retail service plans aimed at enhancing service quality, operational efficiency, and profitability, thereby ensuring a unified and customer-focused retail experience across departments.
Working at Aramark means developing new skills continuously and embracing challenges to deliver impactful results for employees and customers. The company values adaptability with the understanding that job duties may evolve to meet organizational commitments. If you are passionate about food service management and looking to grow your career in a dynamic and supportive environment, this opportunity at Aramark offers a chance to make a meaningful difference.
