The Food Service Manager position at Aramark is a pivotal management role focused on developing and implementing innovative dining solutions that satisfy customer needs and preferences. This position oversees and manages day-to-day dining operations in settings where customers order prepared foods from a menu, such as cafeterias or residential dining facilities. In this role, the Food Service Manager leads the front of house operations, working closely with the Food Service Director to plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities that deliver exceptional finished products to customers. The position emphasizes leadership, client relationship management, financial performance, productivity, and compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Key responsibilities include using effective communication to identify client needs, managing profit and loss statements, driving operational excellence through cost controls and labor initiatives, and maintaining workplace safety and health standards.
Additionally, the manager is responsible for planning and leading daily team briefings to ensure that all team members are aligned with operational goals and performance metrics. Job Qualifications

- Follow the Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives
- Ensure entire team is trained and able to implement
- Supervise team regarding production, quality and control
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
- Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour
- Lead the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/ Residential Dining Facility) in conjunction with the Food Service Director
- Plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities in order to deliver a finished product to the customer
