Sodexo is currently seeking a Retail Manager 2 to support retail food service operations at McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing, MI. This role is critical in managing and overseeing the daily retail operations at a busy healthcare facility, ensuring an exceptional customer experience for patients, visitors, and staff members. The Retail Manager 2 will be responsible for driving operational excellence through strong leadership, effective team engagement, and rigorous adherence to food safety and company standards. They will oversee cash handling processes, POS programming and maintenance, and ensure compliance with all relevant food and physical safety programs and standards. This manager will conduct regular audits of both in-house and national retail brand standards, maintaining the integrity and quality of retail branded concepts. Additional responsibilities include managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance, maintaining product merchandising and marketing standards, and overseeing the opening and closing procedures of retail operations.
The role requires a professional with a proven track record of strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication abilities and a passion for delivering superior customer service. Flexibility to accommodate additional responsibilities and a working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems, along with menu graphics programs, is essential. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year management experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties
- Oversee cash handling processes and POS programming and maintenance
- Ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed
- Conduct retail brand standard audits for in-house and national brands
- Maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards for national and in-house brands
- Manage opening and closing of the operation as well daily retail food service operations
- Ensure all needed signage including digital is in place
- Manage vendor relationships and compliance
- Maintain all product merchandising, marketing, and ordering standards are in place
