Job Requirements
- Clean driving record for at least 3 years
- no commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
- must be at least 21 years old
- minimum one year experience driving box trucks
- ability to lift, push, or pull at least 100 pounds to shoulder height
- ability to work safely around moving mechanical parts
- effective communication and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year experience driving box trucks
- clean driving record for at least three years
- ability to lift, push, or pull 100 pounds plus to shoulder height
- ability to assemble furniture
- effective interpersonal communication skills
- effective time management and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- analytical and problem-solving skills
- maintain confidentiality
- ability to respond professionally in difficult situations
Job Duties
- Handle product safely
- conduct physical inspection of product to identify damaged goods, perform touch-ups and repairs as needed
- place product in designated storage areas safely
- prepare and load customer delivery trucks
- unload and safely place product in customer home
- remove all packaging materials from the location
- communicate and document customer concerns to Warehouse Support
- communicate credit, damage, and essential information to Customer Service Department
- may be required to complete shipping/receiving paperwork
- may be required to complete Department of Transportation paperwork
- maintain clean and organized warehouse area
- maintain a professional image
- assist driver as needed with vehicle inspection, routine maintenance, and fueling of vehicle at approved locations
- complete other assignments and special projects as requested
- maintain reliable attendance
