This job opportunity is with the Store at Wichita-Greenwich, KS, where team members play a crucial role in delivering friendly and efficient customer service. The position involves assisting customers as they shop, helping them locate products, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Team members are responsible for maintaining store recovery standards to uphold the brand promises, ensuring that the store is well-merchandised, organized, and fully stocked. Duties include truck unloading, stocking shelves, and adhering closely to company procedures and safety protocols. The role also entails engaging customers with promotions such as the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, as well as encouraging participation in the Voice of Customer survey. Employees are cross-trained in custom framing selling and production, supporting various Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. This full-time or part-time position requires physical stamina to remain standing for long periods and perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching. The work environment includes climate-controlled public retail spaces, with occasional outdoor and warehouse areas. Job Requirements

  • At least sixteen years old
  • ability to remain standing for long periods
  • ability to move throughout the store
  • ability to perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
  • ability to comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • ability to interact positively and respectfully with others

Job Qualifications

  • Retail or customer service experience preferred
  • ability to engage customers with positive communication
  • familiarity with cash handling procedures
  • ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • basic knowledge of store merchandising and inventory processes
  • good physical stamina and ability to perform lifting and bending tasks
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
  • provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
  • execute cash handling to standards
  • engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery
  • perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance
  • interact respectfully and promote positive image
  • cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • other duties as assigned
