This particular opportunity is for a full-time Customer Service Specialist position based in several stores located in Wisconsin, specifically Store #3224 at 1350 Capitol Dr Ste 10, Meadow Grove Shopping Center, Pewaukee, Store #3123 in Brookfield, and Store #3259 in Oconomowoc. The starting pay for this role is $18.30 per hour or is negotiable based on relevant experience. This position plays a fundamental role in the success of Sherwin-Williams’ retail operations, acting as the frontline representative who interacts with both wholesale and retail customers.
As a Customer Service Specialist, your main responsibility will be to work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams' product offerings, and recommend solutions that best fit their projects. You will be essential in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and delivering a consistent and positive shopping experience. Staying up-to-date with product features, maintaining visual and quality standards within the store, and contributing to the store’s overall sales goals are critical aspects of the role. The position involves handling cash and other payment methods, operating electronic equipment, and managing store merchandise which requires adherence to company policies including background checks to protect customers, staff, and the company’s reputation.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a meets expectations 3 rating on your most recent performance appraisal
- If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position
Job Qualifications
- Have at least a high school diploma or GED
- Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
Job Duties
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintain precise work order files and formulas
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
