The position of Front End Supervisor at Marshalls offers an exciting opportunity for those eager to grow their careers within a renowned retail company. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience by leading a team of associates at the front of the store. The Front End Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a positive shopping environment, ensuring outstanding customer service, and promoting loyalty programs. The individual in this position leads by example, engaging with customers and associates alike, and maintains a clean, organized store front to facilitate smooth operations.

Key responsibilities include mentoring and training associates on front-end principles, personalizing customer interactions, promoting credit and loyalty programs, and ensuring adherence to store policies and relevant labor laws. The supervisor coordinates register assignments and manages breaks effectively, ensuring optimal POS coverage. Proactive problem-solving skills are essential in addressing customer concerns swiftly to maintain customer satisfaction.

The role requires a hands-on leader who communicates effectively with management and associates, prioritizes tasks based on the store plan, and fosters a culture of honesty, integrity, and safety. The position also involves collaborating with management on training needs to enhance team effectiveness and supporting store goals related to shrink reduction and safety awareness. Job Duties

  • Create a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Take an active role in training and mentoring associates on front-end principles
  • Train and coach associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
  • Assign registers, support and respond to POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all associates
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Ensure associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizing as needed
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates when setting and addressing priorities, providing progress updates
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  • Partner with management on associate training needs to increase effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
