The Cashier role at Love's embodies the spirit of friendly, fast, and accurate customer service in a fast-paced setting. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for general customer service tasks such as helping customers find items, answering product-related questions, and addressing various customer needs with a welcoming attitude. Additionally, cashiers ensure food safety by using various methods and technologies to maintain fresh food and deli product standards. Maintaining cleanliness is also a vital aspect of this role, as Cashiers are responsible for cleaning their direct working areas, sales floors, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, along with completing trash runs. Flexibility is key, as additional duties might include cross-training in other departments like Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, or leadership roles. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift over 25 pounds and work in varying temperature conditions. No previous experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, making it an excellent entry-level opportunity.
