Job Description
FedEx Office is a renowned provider of printing, shipping, and business services with a broad network of retail locations across the United States. Known for delivering exceptional customer service, FedEx Office supports businesses and individuals with their printing needs, signage, graphics, and shipping requirements. As part of FedEx, the company is firmly rooted in the values of reliability, efficiency, and innovation, offering a comprehensive range of printed products and shipping solutions. The retail stores are designed to create a welcoming environment where customers can get expert advice and services tailored to their needs, combining the convenience of online ordering with personalized, in-store assistance.
The position of Store Consultant at FedEx Office involves delivering a consistently positive customer experience by employing consultative selling techniques. This role requires a team member who is knowledgeable about all aspects of the store's business including print, signs and graphics, and shipping services. It is a customer-focused position where establishing consultative relationships with customers is key to understanding their unique needs, providing suitable alternatives, and finding effective solutions. The Store Consultant handles a variety of responsibilities including order taking, coordinating store activities, offering pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services.
In addition to customer-facing tasks, the Store Consultant will operate and maintain printing and shipping equipment, manage production queues and retail supplies, and handle complex projects to ensure smooth and efficient store operations. The role demands physical tasks like moving boxes and stocking materials, along with strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks effectively. Working in a fast-paced retail environment, the Store Consultant must balance multiple duties simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
The position is ideal for individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Foodex Office offers this role typically as a full-time or part-time position, with competitive pay reflecting the specialized skills required. This role provides a dynamic work environment with opportunities for learning and growth, supported by a culture of quality-driven management focused on business excellence and superior customer experience. The Store Consultant position is fundamental in upholding the company’s commitment to service, reliability, and customer satisfaction, helping FedEx Office maintain its market-leading position in retail printing and shipping services.
