Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent education
- 6+ months of specialized experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to stand during entire shift excluding meal and rest periods
- ability to move and lift 55 pounds
- ability on a consistent basis to bend and twist at waist and knees
- ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and team members
- ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
- ability to function in a fast-paced environment under substantial pressure
- ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods

Job Duties
- follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
- assist in the training of store team members
- demonstrate consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer’s individualized need
- provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics and shipping product lines and recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
- provide an outstanding customer service experience by anticipating customer needs, suggesting alternatives, and finding solutions
- ensure all customer problems are resolved quickly and satisfactorily
- take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
- assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping including wrapping items, weighing packages, and affixing labels
- set up and operate printing, binding, and related equipment using customer supplied media
- maintain a safe, clean and orderly retail store
- ensure confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents and packages
- process financial transactions using a POS terminal including handling cash and making change
- clean, repair, and stock retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies
- stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of products and signage
- take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
- complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting as needed
- follow company standard operating procedures and adhere to legal, HR, safety and security policies
- perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- seek opportunities to improve knowledge and skills
- operate with minimal supervision
- adhere to team member and retail store standards as outlined in the handbook
- perform other duties as needed or required
