Job Duties

  • follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
  • assist in the training of store team members
  • demonstrate consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer’s individualized need
  • provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics and shipping product lines and recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
  • provide an outstanding customer service experience by anticipating customer needs, suggesting alternatives, and finding solutions
  • ensure all customer problems are resolved quickly and satisfactorily
  • take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
  • assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping including wrapping items, weighing packages, and affixing labels
  • set up and operate printing, binding, and related equipment using customer supplied media
  • maintain a safe, clean and orderly retail store
  • ensure confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents and packages
  • process financial transactions using a POS terminal including handling cash and making change
  • clean, repair, and stock retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies
  • stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of products and signage
  • take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting as needed
  • follow company standard operating procedures and adhere to legal, HR, safety and security policies
  • perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • seek opportunities to improve knowledge and skills
  • operate with minimal supervision
  • adhere to team member and retail store standards as outlined in the handbook
  • perform other duties as needed or required
