Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • six or more months of specialized experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to stand for entire shift excluding meal and rest periods
  • ability to move and lift up to 55 pounds
  • ability to bend and twist at waist and knees regularly
  • ability to communicate consistently with customers, vendors, and team members
  • ability to perform work requiring cooperation and instruction

Job Duties

  • Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
  • assist in training of store team members
  • demonstrate consultative behaviors in retail environment to understand each customer's individualized need
  • provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics and shipping product lines
  • recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
  • provide outstanding customer service by anticipating customer needs and finding solutions
  • resolve customer problems quickly and satisfactorily
  • take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
  • assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping including wrapping, weighing, and labeling
  • set up and operate printing, binding, and related equipment
  • maintain safe, clean, and orderly retail store
  • ensure confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents and packages
  • process financial transactions including handling cash and making change
  • clean, repair, and stock retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies
  • ensure proper retail merchandising and signage display
  • prevent errors and waste
  • complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting
  • follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures and comply with policies
  • perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • seek opportunities to improve knowledge and skills
  • operate with minimal supervision
  • adhere to team member and retail store standards
  • perform all other duties as needed
