Job Description
Intuit is a leading technology company known for its innovative financial software, including TurboTax, which helps millions of individuals navigate their tax needs each year with confidence and ease. As a progressive company, Intuit is committed to providing exceptional service experiences that reflect our values of empathy, customer focus, and continuous improvement. A pioneer in the tech-driven financial services industry, Intuit combines cutting-edge technology with personalized assistance to ensure customers achieve the best outcomes with their tax filings and financial planning.
We are currently seeking a hospitality-focused Customer Advisor to join the TurboTax team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a face-to-face customer service environment and takes pride in creating welcoming, supportive, and high-touch experiences for every individual who walks through the door. Unlike traditional tax preparation roles, this position is centered on the interpersonal connection — acting as a trustworthy and knowledgeable guide who listens carefully to customer needs, explains service options clearly, and connects customers with the experts best suited to assist them.
This year-round, non-exempt position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a fast-growing, nationally recognized brand. The Customer Advisor serves not only as the first point of contact but as an integral part of the customer journey with TurboTax. Candidates will have the chance to embody the Intuit brand with genuine hospitality, ensuring that each customer encounters a seamless, empathetic, and informed service experience. This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, a service mindset, and excellent communication skills.
The role includes welcoming customers with warmth and professionalism, actively listening to their unique concerns, and guiding them through available options. Advisors will accompany customers through their visits, aiming to minimize friction by effectively answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth hand-offs to the right TurboTax services or experts. Follow-up communications are also a vital part of the role to confirm that customers have received the help they needed and that any remaining issues have been addressed.
Compensation for this role varies by location, with hourly pay ranging approximately from $24.23 to $32.21. In addition to competitive wages, Intuit offers attractive benefits including health coverage, a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, paid time off, stock purchase plans, and more. Our Customer Advisors also enjoy the added benefit of discounts on Intuit products, reimbursement for personal mobile phone bills, and opportunities to collaborate within a supportive professional network.
Joining Intuit as a Customer Advisor means being part of a culture dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. You will have a platform to provide meaningful feedback that shapes both employee and customer experiences, contributing to the evolution of a premier financial services brand. This role demands someone who not only enjoys high-touch customer interaction but also embraces a growth mindset and strives to make every customer interaction positive and effective.
If you are passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality, have a background in customer service or related fields, and seek a flexible, rewarding position within a respected company, we encourage you to apply. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who appreciate a busy, engaging work environment and want to play a key role in shaping the customer experience at a company that truly values its people and customers.
