Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of selling or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Proficiency with point of sale and retail technology
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks requiring reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in selling or customer service preferred
  • Good understanding of the products sold and ability to provide expert guidance
  • Comfortable communicating with customers virtually, via phone, and in person
  • Ability to build relationships and achieve sales goals
  • Proficient in using point of sale technology and other store applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Self-driven to stay current with product knowledge and training
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by selling merchandise and meeting customer needs in-store or virtually
  • Assist the customer by making product recommendations focusing on size, fit, and style leveraging product knowledge and digital resources
  • Engage and interact with customers during their shopping journey to acquire and grow client relationships using elevated outreach tools
  • Develop and maintain relationships with peers and store leadership to solve problems and create the best outcomes for customers
  • Use Point of Sale systems and store technology including computers, tablets, smartphones, and social media
  • Partner with the store team, vendors, and community to develop, advertise, and host virtual and in-store events to drive sales
  • Maintain selling floor presentation and fitting rooms, ensuring readiness by clearing and returning merchandise appropriately
  • Receive, unpack, and set up new merchandise according to visual guidelines
  • Reconfigure store fixtures to prepare for new layouts and visual presentations according to themes
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures including alarm system access and settling registers
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with customers, colleagues, and communities
