Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps
- Follow proper forklift spotting procedures
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to company protocols
- Correct and report unsafe situations to management
- Clean all areas of the facility including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment
- Respond promptly to spills
- Operate floor scrubbers
- Dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in compliance with company environmental sustainability program
- Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemical supplies properly
- Place orders to replenish supplies when low
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary
- Maintain a positive attitude throughout work shifts
