The Retail Cashier position at the Jackie Robinson Museum in New York, New York, is a part-time role that offers a unique opportunity to work in a prestigious cultural setting. This role involves managing all retail transactions, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting the overall retail operations. The typical work schedule is from Thursday to Sunday, aligning with the museum's hours of operation from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional flexibility needed to cover special events as they arise. The pay rate for this position ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.

As a Retail Cashier, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by greeting visitors, answering their questions, and assisting with their purchases. You will be responsible for operating the point-of-sale system, processing sales accurately, and handling cash transactions with precision. Additionally, you will maintain inventory by stocking merchandise and managing back stock. Verifying the cash bank at the beginning and end of each shift is also a key responsibility to ensure financial accuracy.
