Job Requirements

Must produce a valid ID
must have food handling certification
must show 2 years of verifiable customer service and cash handling experience
must be a good multitasker, time manager, and team player
must work weekends and stay until all tasks are completed
ability to maintain a friendly attitude and positive conflict resolution
may require safely operating lift gates on box trucks (training provided)
should be able to lift 50 lbs without complication
must be able to stand for the entire shift of up to 8 hours

Job Qualifications

Produce a valid ID and food handling certification
have 2 years of verifiable customer service and cash handling experience
demonstrate good multitasking, time management, and teamwork skills
maintain friendly attitude and positive conflict resolution skills
be able to safely operate lift gates on box trucks when trained
physically able to lift 50 lbs
able to stand for shifts up to 8 hours
have versatility and readiness for challenges
be punctual, reliable, organized, efficient, and accepting of feedback

Job Duties

Create aesthetically pleasing product displays to entice customers to make purchases
greet every customer in an authentically friendly, proactive, and welcoming manner
educate customers on all Proof products with corresponding talking points to encourage sales
actively build relationships with clientele to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation
promote ways to find, use, and store Proof Bread
package orders and handle ready-to-eat products following food safety standards
craft quality made-to-order coffee and tea beverages
maintain cleanliness and order of customer areas, restock and face retail fridges, and fill displays
enter daily inventory for online orders by 7am
operate a point of sale and handle cash with accuracy
close cash register and customer service areas according to company standards and perform end-of-day reporting
wash dishes, sanitize customer areas and counters, sweep and mop floors
prepare leftovers and manage community donations at the end-of-day closing
promptly report issues to management or leadership
understand sourdough process and judge fermentation for baking readiness
operate commercial ovens and bake breads and pastries according to timelines and parameters
top, decorate, and prepare pastries for display
monitor quality control and report issues
process, prepare, and label food products following food safety standards
work with an emphasis on time and task management
prepare for next shift success
organize products for daily transfer and complete transfer logs
uphold cleanliness of production areas and perform equipment maintenance
assist BOH mixing team with ad-hoc tasks as needed
