This role is a full-time position based in the TJ Maxx Store number 0679 located in Athens, Georgia, with a starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour. The actual starting pay depends on factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Acting as a role model in customer service and store operations, the individual will lead truck deliveries prioritizing merchandise processing and sales floor replenishment, train and mentor associates on merchandising principles, and maintain key organizational standards that reflect TJ Maxx’s branding and merchandising philosophy.

Additionally, the role involves monitoring the productivity of the team, coaching as necessary, and communicating effectively with store management and associates to ensure priorities are aligned and achieved smoothly. The incumbent will have ownership of maintaining the backroom, ensuring compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs, and supporting safety initiatives to create a secure workplace environment. Job Duties

  • create a positive internal and external customer experience
  • promote a culture of honesty and integrity
  • orchestrate truck delivery prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor
  • train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • communicate with the coordinator on duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
  • ensure associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan and prioritize as needed
  • monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary
  • organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
  • maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area
  • ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
  • communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates when setting and addressing priorities and provide progress updates
  • provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
