This particular opening at HomeGoods is for a role that focuses on executing receiving and merchandising standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Associates in this position are responsible for ensuring efficient and effective processing of merchandise, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store, and delivering an exceptional customer experience through positive engagement.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and operational excellence. Candidates will be expected to orchestrate truck deliveries, prioritize merchandise processing onto the sales floor, and mentor fellow associates in merchandising and processing principles. Key responsibilities include ensuring all merchandise is appropriately tagged, coded, and displayed according to company standards, managing back stock organization and rotation, adhering to recycling and hazardous waste protocols, and supporting the store’s inventory control and shrink reduction initiatives.

This position also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with management and peers to achieve store goals. Employees will participate in promoting the store's credit and loyalty programs, uphold all labor laws and company policies, and maintain a safe working environment. Starting pay for this position ranges from $14.25 to $14.75 per hour, dependent on skills and experience. Job Duties
