Based at the store located at 4201 Town Center Blvd in Jeffersonville, Indiana, this position blends leadership, operational excellence, and customer service. The starting pay ranges from $14.25 to $14.75 per hour, determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. The role centers on executing receiving and merchandising standards efficiently and effectively, ensuring a seamless flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The successful candidate will oversee Associates, promoting teamwork and coaching to boost productivity and maintain high standards of merchandise presentation and store organization.
The role's responsibilities include prioritizing truck deliveries, organizing back stock for easy replenishment, and upholding merchandising philosophy and signage standards. Beyond logistics, this position champions an outstanding customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining cleanliness, and fostering a culture of honesty and integrity. The ideal candidate models exceptional customer service, contributes to store shrink reduction programs, promotes safety awareness, and supports credit and loyalty initiatives. With a focus on training and mentoring associates, the role requires both leadership aptitude and a hands-on approach. Working a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, it demands superior communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and resilience in adapting to changing priorities.

Job Duties
- Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
- promotes a culture of honesty and integrity and maintains confidentiality
- orchestrates truck delivery prioritizing processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
- trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles
- ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
- communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
- ensures associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan and prioritizes as needed
- monitors productivity of team and coaches as necessary
- organizes and rotates back stock for easy replenishment
- maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
- maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area
- ensures compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs where applicable
- communicates accurately and effectively with management and associates when setting and addressing priorities and provides progress updates
- provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
- partners with management on associate training needs to increase effectiveness
- ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
- promotes credit and loyalty programs
- supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
- promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
