The role of Merchandising and Receiving Supervisor at TJ Maxx involves managing the receiving and merchandising standards in the store while ensuring associates work efficiently and collaboratively. This position plays a key role in promoting an excellent customer experience through engagement and interaction with customers and by maintaining a neat and organized sales floor and backroom area. The supervisor is responsible for orchestrating truck deliveries, prioritizing the timely processing and presentation of merchandise, and mentoring associates on best practices. This includes training team members on tagging, hanging, securing, and coding merchandise while ensuring compliance with store policies and labor laws. Additionally, the supervisor will oversee back stock organization, uphold merchandising philosophies and signage standards, and promote safety awareness throughout the workplace.

  • communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor
  • monitors productivity of team and coaches as necessary
