The role focuses primarily on executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring that store associates process merchandise efficiently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating merchandise delivery from trucks, ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, displayed, and replenished on the sales floor. They will also be expected to maintain high standards of customer service by engaging with customers and creating a welcoming shopping environment.
This role is critical in maintaining the store's operational flow and visual presentation by training and mentoring associates on merchandising and processing principles, managing back stock organization, and upholding the store's merchandising philosophy and signage standards. The position requires a proactive approach in communication with the store's management and associates to prioritize tasks, monitor team productivity, and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety protocols, labor laws, and store policies, as well as contributing to shrink reduction and safety awareness programs.
