Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in restaurant management or related food industry role
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
  • Experience with inventory control and budget management is highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
  • Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with kitchen management practices including food production and catering services
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
  • Oversee inventory control including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
  • Train and develop staff in various roles including cooking cash handling and customer service
  • Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient order processing and cash management
  • Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed to maintain staffing levels
  • Implement effective shift management practices to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize restaurant profitability
