Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in restaurant management or related food industry role
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
- Experience with inventory control and budget management is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
- Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen management practices including food production and catering services
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
- Oversee inventory control including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
- Train and develop staff in various roles including cooking cash handling and customer service
- Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient order processing and cash management
- Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed to maintain staffing levels
- Implement effective shift management practices to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize restaurant profitability
