The Server position at Legends Global plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest service within the Food and Beverage department, specifically supporting the Catering and Restaurant divisions. This is a non-exempt, hourly role located at the Grand Rapids Complex (including Van Andel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheater, and Amway Stadium) in Michigan. The role demands a strong commitment to guest satisfaction by working within clubs, suites, or in-seat environments to provide personalized service.

Servers at Legends Global are tasked with interacting professionally and warmly with guests to ensure their experience exceeds expectations. Responsibilities include serving food and beverages such as soda, water, wine, draft beer, and bottled beer, supporting the service team by clearing and cleaning tables, running food, and performing opening, closing, and side work responsibilities. This role requires teamwork and collaboration with coworkers and other departments to maintain a smooth operation during events.

The ideal candidate is energetic, enthusiastic, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced and team-oriented setting. They must be knowledgeable about various food and beverage offerings, service standards, and guest relations etiquette. Physical stamina is necessary, as the position often involves lifting items weighing 10 to 30 pounds and sometimes up to 50 pounds, along with constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods. Also, the role involves working extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules.

Legends Global requires all servers to have at least one to two years of experience in a high-end club or restaurant environment, a high school diploma or equivalent, and Michigan Alcohol Server Certification such as Servsafe or TIPS. Additionally, candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess the ability to communicate effectively in English.
