The Restaurant Zone Manager role at Raising Cane's is a crucial leadership position responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in managing the daily operations across one or more restaurant zones. In this role, the manager ensures compliance with operational and safety standards, directs crewmembers during shifts, and is instrumental in executing reward programs to motivate the team. The manager also authorizes employee functions like discounts and promotions, oversees cleanliness, and guarantees that facilities are in good working condition. The environment includes working both inside and outside areas, exposed to varied temperatures, food products, allergens, industrial equipment, and commercial cleaning products needing personal protective equipment. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- Capable of physical exertion including walking, standing, lifting and bending for extended periods
- Completion of all required Raising Cane's company training programs
- Able to recognize problems, set goals, execute and convert plans into action to solve problems
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience or Raising Cane's advanced crew experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Self-driven and flexible
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Enforces Raising Cane's policies and standards
- Manages assigned zone according to Raising Cane's operations and safety standards
- Uses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
- Directs crewmembers during a shift
- Provides exemplary customer service
- Supports execution of reward and recognition program for the crewmembers in the restaurant
- Authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts and promotions
- Ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and ensures the facility is in good working order
- Completes other duties as assigned
